Anderson & Petty Announce ‘WISH’ Holiday Concert to Benefit Housing Works

WISH: A HOLIDAY CD RELEASE CONCERT TO BENEFIT HOUSING WORKS is a celebration of our second studio album “Wish: The Anderson & Petty Holiday Songbook.” Net profits from the sales of the album will benefit Housing Works, a local organization supporting those living with and affected by HIV/AIDS.

The concert will be held on Monday, December 4th at The Laurie Beechman Theatre in The West Bank Café, 407 W 42nd Street (at 9th Avenue), New York, NY 10036, two shows at 7:00 & 9:30pm.

Hosted by MTV & VH1’s Amy Paffrath, the evening will feature songs from the album sung by many of the original recording artists along with other performers from stage and screen. Scheduled to appear are (in alphabetical order): Christy Faber (Les Miserables, Kinky Boots), Katie Goffman (Ghost tour, Wisco Queens webseries), Ellen Harvey (Present Laughter, How To Succeed…), Leah Horowitz (Follies, Thoroughly Modern Millie), Natalie Joy Johnson (Legally Blonde, Kinky Boots), David LaMarr (Jersey Boys tour, La Mirada’s Dreamgirls), Kyle Taylor Parker (Kinky Boots, Charlie & The Chocolate Factory), Jonathan Rayson (Little Shop of Horrors, A Year With Frog & Toad), Brian Charles Rooney (Threepenny Opera, Bedbugs), Drew Seeley (Another Cinderella Story, The Little Mermaid), Lucia Spina (Legally Blonde, Silence! The Musical), and Allie Trimm (13, Bye Bye Birdie).

Musical Direction by Cameron Moncur (Finding Neverland, Tuck Everlasting) and Directed by Lucia Spina (sMOkeyTOWN, 54 Sings 1776). Tickets are $25-$40 each (plus $20 food/beverage minimum) and will include a copy of the CD “Wish”. A VIP Package is available which includes premium seating, bonus CDs, and other goodies. Hello everyone and Happy New Year to you all. What a whirlwind of a year it’s been and we have even more exciting things to look forward to in 2017. We ended the year with a Christmas concert at The St. James Studio in London with a host of West End and TV stars celebrating our music and helping to raise money for The Make A Difference Trust (MAD Trust – TheatreMAD) We have now added a special playlist on our YouTube channel where you can view videos from the night and also a special highlights video of just the Christmas songs. We hope that you enjoy them, especially if you weren’t able to make it on the night and if you did then please relive the wonderful performances that everyone gave. They have had sold-out concerts at Feinstein’s/54 Below, The Duplex and The Triad in New York and in London at The Delfont Room in The Prince of Wales Theatre, The Union Theatre and at The St. James Studio back in 2014.

We are thrilled to be returning to The St. James Studio in London on the 19th December to present ‘An Anderson & Petty Christmas’ featuring a host of West End performers with all-new holiday songs alongside selected tracks from our debut songbook album ‘You Are Home – The Songs of Anderson & Petty’. All proceeds from the concert will be going to TheatreMAD (Make A Difference Trust)

Over the last five years we have worked closely with TheatreMAD having written the closing song for their West End Bares shows in 2012 and 2013 which featured Mark Evans, Louise Dearman, Frances Ruffelle and Michael Xavier. We also write a brand new song for their ‘A West End Christmas’ show at The Actors’ Church in Covent Garden every year.

Happy October, Friends!!

It’s been a while since our last update. We’re currently getting ready for our next concert happening in London in December! (“Ho, ho, ho…”) More to come on that very soon!

Christmas is getting closer, and we’re excited to keep sharing more of our brand new holiday music with you guys! We were lucky to have De’Lon Grant (Check out his photography site) behind the camera in our Detroit recording sessions.
